Cybersecurity Analyst
Job Summary
To support a growing IT Security team, the remote Cybersecurity Analyst will triage alert escalations, handle incident responses, and collaborate with various teams to enhance detection and response capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to escalated issues from tier 1 analysts and collaborate with engineering and service teams
- Work with the MDR provider to improve detection and response capabilities while ensuring platform security
- Scope, implement, and support new security projects and initiatives
Required qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a security operations team or technical security role
- Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field
- Microsoft Certified (MCSE) or equivalent certification is a plus
- Current or within 6 months of hire security certification such as CompTIA CySA or Security+
- Familiarity with industry standard security tools and applications
