Job Summary
Providing specialized technical and analytical support, the remote Cybersecurity Analyst in Insider Risk Analytics will enhance insider risk detection capabilities, support investigations, and improve operational efficiency through data analysis and automation on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and correlate complex datasets to identify anomalous behaviors and potential insider threats
- Develop and refine detection logic, analytical use cases, and monitoring queries while collaborating with Security Engineering
- Build and maintain dashboards and automated workflows to streamline investigative processes and enhance detection accuracy
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3-4 years of experience in cybersecurity investigations, security analytics, or insider risk
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, UEBA, and DLP technologies
- Proficiency in developing complex SIEM queries and analytical content using languages such as YARA-L, SPL, KQL, or SQL
- Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automating workflows
