Cybersecurity Assistant Manager

Job Summary

Supporting the Manager and Assistant CISO in a hybrid full-time role, the Cybersecurity Assistant Manager will manage the design, implementation, and operation of cybersecurity controls while providing hands-on technical support across various security domains to protect member data and enterprise infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and lifecycle management of enterprise cybersecurity platforms and technical controls
• Provide hands-on technical support for various security aspects including endpoint detection, network security, and incident response
• Assist with engineering standards and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into projects and technology decisions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive cybersecurity experience, with 1 to 3 years in financial services or a regulated industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, operations, and regulatory frameworks such as NIST and PCI DSS
• Ability to translate risks and regulatory requirements into clear technical controls and measurable outcomes
• Experience in supporting vendors and managing security service levels and escalations
