Cybersecurity Assistant Manager

Job Summary

Supporting the Manager and Assistant CISO, the full-time salaried Cybersecurity Assistant Manager will design, implement, and enhance cybersecurity controls while providing technical support across various security domains in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and lifecycle management of enterprise cybersecurity platforms and technical controls
• Provide hands-on technical support for various security domains, including endpoint detection, network security, and incident response
• Manage day-to-day operations of the cybersecurity team, including work prioritization and technical coaching

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive cybersecurity experience with hands-on experience in security engineering or operations
• 1 to 3 years of experience in financial services or regulated industries strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and principles, including NIST and Zero Trust
• Ability to translate risks and regulatory requirements into technical controls and measurable outcomes
