Cybersecurity Assistant Manager

Job Summary

Supporting the Manager and Assistant CISO, the full-time hybrid Cybersecurity Assistant Manager will design, implement, and improve cybersecurity controls while providing hands-on technical support across various security domains and acting as a backup for cybersecurity engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and lifecycle management of enterprise cybersecurity platforms and technical controls
• Provide hands-on technical support for endpoint detection, network security, and cloud security, among other areas
• Assist with engineering standards and secure configuration baselines while managing team direction and performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive cybersecurity experience, including hands-on roles in security engineering or operations
• 1 to 3 years of experience in financial services or a regulated industry strongly preferred
• Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and controls, including NIST and Zero Trust principles
• Ability to translate risks and regulatory requirements into technical controls and measurable outcomes
