Cybersecurity Consultant
Job Summary
To support the Cybersecurity Program, the full-time Cybersecurity Consultant will design, engineer, and assess key elements of the cybersecurity framework while working remotely and serving as a subject matter expert across various cybersecurity functions.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement cybersecurity strategies focused on governance, risk management, and compliance
- Lead incident response efforts and provide mentorship to team members on cybersecurity services delivery
- Conduct risk analysis and develop policies, procedures, and architectural standards for cybersecurity operations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP, SANS 700+ Series)
- 9-10 years of related work experience in cybersecurity technologies and processes
- Expert troubleshooting skills and experience in cybersecurity incident response
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on attention to detail and decision-making
- Proficient in communication and collaboration within technical teams
