Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

To enhance security integration within product delivery and operations, the full-time Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity will lead security operations, governance, risk compliance, and DevSecOps initiatives while fostering an automation-first, AI-assisted environment, with a hybrid or onsite work option available for candidates residing within 50 miles of Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the enterprise security strategy, focusing on secure-by-design practices and automation
• Oversee security operations, including incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management, while managing relationships with external partners
• Lead governance, risk, and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations such as PCI DSS and telecom obligations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
• Proven track record in transitioning security practices from gatekeeping to embedded, DevSecOps-style delivery
• Strong background in security operations, incident response, and managing security service providers
• Deep knowledge of identity and privileged access management, as well as governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
