Cybersecurity Director
Job Summary
To enhance security integration within operations, the full-time salaried Cybersecurity Director will lead security strategy, oversee security operations, and manage governance, risk, and compliance while working in a hybrid or onsite capacity near Scottsdale, AZ.
Key responsibilities
- Set and execute the enterprise security strategy, focusing on automation and secure-by-design practices
- Lead the transition to an AI-assisted security operations center and manage incident response and forensics
- Oversee compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulations such as PCI DSS and telecom obligations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
- Experience in transitioning security organizations to embedded DevSecOps delivery
- Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and security automation
- Knowledge of identity and privileged access management, as well as governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
