Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

Leading the transformation of security practices, the full-time salaried Cybersecurity Director will oversee security operations, governance, risk compliance, and DevSecOps, with a focus on integrating security into product delivery and day-to-day operations, while working in a hybrid or onsite capacity near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the enterprise security strategy, prioritizing automation and efficient practices
• Manage security operations, incident response, and resilience programs, ensuring a proactive approach to threats
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance efforts, maintaining accountability for security controls and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including 5+ years in leadership roles
• Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and managing security automation
• Deep knowledge of identity and privileged access management, as well as GRC frameworks like PCI DSS and NIST CSF
• Experience with cloud security, CI/CD practices, and data-driven performance metrics
