Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

To enhance security operations and integrate cybersecurity into product delivery, the full-time Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity will lead security strategy, manage compliance and risk, and oversee automation initiatives, with the option for hybrid or onsite work based in Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Set and implement the enterprise security strategy, focusing on automation and secure-by-design practices
• Lead the transition to an AI-assisted Security Operations Center (SOC) and manage incident response and forensics
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulations such as PCI DSS and telecom obligations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing security teams
• Proven experience in transforming security organizations to integrate with DevSecOps practices
• Strong background in security operations, incident response, and managing security service providers
• Familiarity with cloud security, CI/CD, and regulatory compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS and NIST CSF
