Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

To enhance security operations and integrate security into product delivery, the full-time Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity will lead initiatives in Security Operations, Governance, Risk & Compliance, and DevSecOps, while residing within 50 miles of Scottsdale, AZ in a hybrid or onsite capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the enterprise security strategy, emphasizing automation and secure-by-design practices
• Lead the transition to an AI-assisted Security Operations Center (SOC) and manage incident response and forensics
• Oversee compliance programs and ensure adherence to regulations, including PCI DSS and telecom obligations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing security teams
• Proven experience in transitioning security organizations to embedded, DevSecOps-style delivery
• Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and managing security automation
• Deep knowledge of identity and privileged access management, along with GRC experience in relevant regulations
