Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity, the ideal candidate will lead security operations, governance, risk, compliance, and DevSecOps while transitioning to an automation-first, AI-assisted security model, with the option for hybrid or onsite work within 50 miles of Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the enterprise security strategy, focusing on automation and managed services to enhance operational efficiency
• Lead security operations, including incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management, ensuring a proactive resilience program
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and continuous compliance practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing security teams
• Proven experience in transitioning security organizations to DevSecOps-style delivery
• Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and managing MDR/MSSP providers
• Deep understanding of identity and privileged access management, along with GRC experience in PCI DSS and NIST CSF
