Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity, this role will manage security operations, governance, risk, compliance, and DevSecOps while leading a transition to an automation-first, AI-assisted security model, with the option for hybrid or onsite work within 50 miles of Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Set and implement enterprise security strategy, focusing on secure-by-design practices and automation
• Lead the transition to an AI-assisted Security Operations Center (SOC) and manage incident response and forensics
• Oversee compliance programs and risk management, ensuring adherence to regulations such as PCI DSS and telecom obligations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
• Experience in moving security organizations to embedded, DevSecOps-style delivery
• Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and managing security automation
• Knowledge of cloud security, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices
