Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

Leading the transformation of security practices, the full-time salaried Cybersecurity Director will develop and implement an enterprise security strategy, oversee security operations, and ensure compliance while working in a hybrid or onsite capacity near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the enterprise security strategy, focusing on automation and high-value decision-making
• Lead security operations, including incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management
• Manage governance, risk, and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in leadership roles
• Experience in transitioning security organizations to embedded, DevSecOps-style delivery
• Strong background in SOC operations and incident response management
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS and NIST CSF, with telecom regulation experience preferred
