Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

Seeking a Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity, this full-time position will manage security operations, governance, risk, compliance, and DevSecOps while transitioning to an automation-first, AI-assisted security model, with a hybrid or onsite work option available for candidates residing within 50 miles of Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the enterprise security strategy, focusing on secure-by-design practices and automation
• Lead security operations, including incident response, threat intelligence, and resilience programs
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and continuous compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing security teams
• Experience in transforming security organizations to integrate with DevSecOps practices
• Strong background in SOC operations and incident response, including managing MDR/MSSP providers
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, NIST CSF, and telecom regulations
