Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

To enhance security operations and compliance, the full-time salaried Cybersecurity Director will lead the transformation of security practices into product delivery and daily operations while managing security operations, governance, risk, compliance, and DevSecOps in a hybrid or onsite capacity near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the enterprise security strategy, focusing on automation and secure-by-design practices
• Oversee security operations, incident response, and resilience programs, ensuring a data-driven approach to security posture and risk management
• Lead governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, maintaining compliance with regulations such as PCI DSS and telecom obligations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including 5+ years in leadership roles
• Proven experience in transitioning security organizations to DevSecOps-style delivery
• Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and managing MDR/MSSP providers
• Deep knowledge of identity and privileged access management, along with GRC experience in PCI DSS and telecom regulations
