Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

To enhance security operations within a hybrid or onsite environment, the full-time salaried Cybersecurity Director will lead the enterprise security strategy, oversee security operations, and drive compliance while integrating automation and AI into processes.

Key responsibilities

• Set and implement enterprise security strategy, focusing on secure-by-design practices and automation
• Lead security operations, including incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulations like PCI DSS and telecom obligations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Experience transitioning security organizations to embedded, DevSecOps-style delivery
• Strong background in SOC and incident response management, including working with MDR/MSSP providers
• Knowledge of identity and privileged access management, as well as GRC frameworks like PCI DSS and NIST CSF
