Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

Leading the transformation of security practices, the full-time Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity will oversee security operations, governance, risk compliance, and DevSecOps while implementing an automation-first, AI-assisted model, with a hybrid or onsite work option available for candidates residing within 50 miles of Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise security strategy, focusing on secure-by-design practices and automation
• Lead security operations and incident response, ensuring a data-driven approach to monitoring and compliance
• Manage identity and access governance, modernizing credential management and ensuring least privilege access

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing security teams
• Experience in transitioning security organizations to DevSecOps models
• Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and managing MDR/MSSP providers
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, NIST CSF, and telecom regulations
