Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

Leading the transformation of security practices, the full-time Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity will manage security operations, governance, risk, and compliance while embedding security into product delivery and daily operations, with a hybrid or onsite work option available for candidates residing within 50 miles of Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the enterprise security strategy, focusing on automation and managed services to enhance operational efficiency
• Oversee security operations, including incident response, threat intelligence, and resilience programs, ensuring a data-driven approach
• Lead governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and continuous compliance practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing security teams
• Proven experience in transitioning security functions to a DevSecOps model
• Strong background in SOC operations and incident response, including managing MDR/MSSP providers
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, NIST CSF, and telecom regulations
