Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

To enhance security integration within operations, the full-time salaried Cybersecurity Director will lead security strategy, manage security operations, and oversee governance, risk, and compliance efforts in a hybrid or onsite role based in Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Set and implement the enterprise security strategy, focusing on automation and managed services to improve efficiency
• Lead the transition to an AI-assisted Security Operations Center (SOC) and manage incident response and threat intelligence programs
• Oversee compliance programs and manage identity and access governance, ensuring adherence to regulations and best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing security teams
• Experience in moving security organizations toward embedded, DevSecOps-style delivery
• Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and managing security automation or AI-driven operations
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, NIST CSF, and telecom regulations
