Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

To enhance security operations and integrate cybersecurity into product delivery, the full-time Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity will lead initiatives in Security Operations, Governance, Risk & Compliance, and DevSecOps, while residing within 50 miles of Scottsdale, AZ in a hybrid or onsite capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the enterprise security strategy, focusing on automation and managed services to streamline security processes
• Lead the transition to an AI-assisted Security Operations Center (SOC) and manage incident response and forensics
• Oversee compliance programs and vendor risk management, ensuring adherence to regulations like PCI DSS and telecom obligations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing security teams
• Proven experience in transforming security operations to a DevSecOps model
• Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and managing security automation
• Deep knowledge of identity and access management, as well as governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
