Job Summary
Leading the transformation of security operations, the full-time salaried Cybersecurity Director will develop and implement an enterprise security strategy, oversee security operations and compliance, and drive DevSecOps initiatives, while working in a hybrid or onsite capacity within 50 miles of Scottsdale, AZ.
Key responsibilities
- Set and execute the enterprise security strategy, focusing on automation and secure-by-design practices
- Lead the transition to an AI-assisted Security Operations Center (SOC) and manage incident response and resilience programs
- Oversee governance, risk, and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and continuous compliance practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing security teams
- Proven experience in transitioning security organizations to embedded, DevSecOps-style delivery
- Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and managing MDR/MSSP providers
- Deep knowledge of identity and access management, governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
