Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

Seeking a Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity, this full-time position will manage security operations, governance, risk compliance, and DevSecOps, while transitioning to an automation-first, AI-assisted security model, with the option for hybrid or onsite work within 50 miles of Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the enterprise security strategy, focusing on secure-by-design practices and automation
• Lead the automation-first Security Operations Center (SOC) and manage incident response, forensics, and threat intelligence programs
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and continuous compliance practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing security teams
• Proven experience in transitioning security organizations to embedded, DevSecOps-style delivery
• Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and managing MDR/MSSP providers
• Deep knowledge of identity and privileged access management, along with GRC experience in PCI DSS and NIST CSF
