Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

Leading the transformation of security operations, the full-time Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity will develop and implement an enterprise security strategy, oversee security operations including resilience and recovery, and manage governance, risk, and compliance while working in a hybrid or onsite capacity within 50 miles of Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the enterprise security strategy, focusing on automation and secure-by-design practices
• Lead security operations, including incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulations such as PCI DSS and telecom obligations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing security teams
• Proven experience in transitioning security organizations to an embedded, DevSecOps model
• Strong background in SOC operations and incident response, including managing MDR/MSSP providers
• Deep knowledge of identity and access management, as well as governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
