Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity, this role will manage security operations, governance, risk compliance, and DevSecOps, focusing on integrating security into product delivery and daily operations while residing within 50 miles of Scottsdale, AZ for a hybrid or onsite work arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the enterprise security strategy, prioritizing automation and managed services to enhance efficiency
• Lead the transformation of security operations to an AI-assisted model, overseeing incident response and threat intelligence programs
• Manage compliance programs and vendor risk management, ensuring adherence to regulations and continuous improvement in security practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing security teams
• Proven experience in transitioning security functions to DevSecOps and automation-driven operations
• Strong background in SOC operations and incident response, including management of MDR/MSSP providers
• Deep understanding of identity and access management, as well as governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
