Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

To enhance security operations and compliance in a hybrid or onsite capacity, the full-time salaried Cybersecurity Director will lead security strategy, manage risk and compliance programs, and oversee automation in security operations while ensuring the protection of company data and assets.

Key responsibilities

• Set and implement the enterprise security strategy, focusing on secure-by-design practices and automation
• Lead security operations, incident response, and resilience programs, integrating AI and automation for efficiency
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and continuous compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles
• Experience transitioning security organizations to DevSecOps-style delivery
• Strong background in SOC operations and incident response, including managing MDR/MSSP providers
• Deep knowledge of identity and privileged access management, as well as governance frameworks like PCI DSS and NIST CSF
