Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

To enhance security integration into product delivery and operations, the full-time salaried Cybersecurity Director will lead security operations, governance, risk compliance, and DevSecOps, while implementing an automation-first, AI-assisted model in a hybrid or onsite capacity near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise security strategy, focusing on automation and managed services to improve efficiency
• Lead the transformation of security operations to an AI-assisted model, overseeing incident response and threat intelligence programs
• Manage compliance programs, including PCI DSS and telecom regulations, while ensuring continuous compliance and effective risk management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in leadership roles
• Proven experience in transitioning security organizations to DevSecOps methodologies
• Strong background in SOC operations and incident response, including management of MDR/MSSP providers
• Expertise in identity and privileged access management, as well as governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
