Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity to lead security operations, governance, risk compliance, and DevSecOps initiatives, while transitioning to an automation-first, AI-assisted security model, with the option for hybrid or onsite work within 50 miles of Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise security strategy, focusing on secure-by-design practices and automation
• Oversee security operations, incident response, and resilience programs, ensuring effective threat management and compliance
• Lead identity and access management initiatives, modernizing credential management and role-based access systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing security teams
• Proven experience in transitioning security organizations to DevSecOps-style delivery
• Strong background in SOC operations and incident response, including managing MDR/MSSP providers
• Deep knowledge of identity and privileged access management, along with GRC experience in PCI DSS and telecom regulations
