Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

To enhance security operations and compliance, the full-time salaried Cybersecurity Director will lead the transformation of security practices into product delivery and day-to-day operations, focusing on automation and risk reduction, while working in a hybrid or onsite capacity near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the enterprise security strategy, integrating secure-by-design practices into operations
• Lead the development of an automation-first, AI-assisted Security Operations Center (SOC) and manage incident response and forensics
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulations and managing vendor risk

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity, including 5+ years in leadership roles managing security teams
• Proven experience in transitioning security organizations to embedded, DevSecOps-style delivery
• Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and managing MDR/MSSP providers
• Deep knowledge of identity and privileged access management, as well as governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
