Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

Leading the transformation of security practices, the full-time Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity will develop and implement security strategies, manage security operations, and ensure compliance while working in a hybrid or onsite capacity near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the enterprise security strategy, focusing on automation and managed services to enhance operational efficiency
• Lead security operations, including incident response, threat intelligence, and resilience programs, while managing relationships with external security partners
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and implementing continuous compliance practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including 5+ years in leadership roles managing security teams
• Proven track record of integrating security into DevSecOps practices and managing security operations centers (SOCs)
• In-depth knowledge of identity and privileged access management, as well as governance frameworks like PCI DSS and NIST CSF
• Experience with cloud security, CI/CD processes, and data-driven security metrics
