Cybersecurity Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the cybersecurity program, the full-time remote Cybersecurity Engineer will manage security monitoring, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence while collaborating with business objectives and adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and define departmental goals and objectives for the cybersecurity program
- Respond to and investigate complex cybersecurity events and incidents
- Research emerging threats and implement preventive controls and security technologies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- 4 years of relevant work experience in cybersecurity
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, NIST, and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks
- Experience with protection and detection technologies, including SIEM platforms
- CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar certification for at least 3 years
