Job Summary
To advance the company's mission of delivering secure software solutions for U.S. government and DoD clients, the full-time Cybersecurity Engineer will manage security compliance for software deployed in regulated environments, drive RMF/ATO lifecycle management, and integrate security practices within DevOps processes while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity efforts for software in secure federal and DoD environments, ensuring compliance with government security policies
- Execute RMF activities, including system categorization, security control selection, and ATO documentation for federal systems
- Implement and validate STIGs and mitigate application-layer vulnerabilities across services
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain one
- 3-5 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in federal or DoD environments
- Strong knowledge of RMF processes and experience with ATO package preparation
- Proficiency in applying STIGs using DISA-approved tools and familiarity with vulnerability management tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
