Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating closely with Cybersecurity, Engineering, and Service teams, the remote Cybersecurity Engineer will manage SOC escalations, address escalated issues, and support new security initiatives while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to escalated issues and alerts from SOC and security tooling to ensure platform health and security
• Lead incident coordination in compliance with regulatory requirements, engaging with internal and external entities
• Scope, implement, and support new security projects and initiatives while maintaining awareness of emerging technologies

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a system engineering or technical security role
• Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a similar field
• Microsoft Certified (MCSE) or equivalent certification is a plus
• Security certifications such as CompTIA CySA, Security+, Network+, or ISC-2 CCSP/SSCP
• Experience with the Incident Response lifecycle and familiarity with industry-standard security tools
