Cybersecurity Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Cybersecurity Engineer will build, configure, and maintain security systems and integrations, focusing on security engineering, troubleshooting, and automation to enhance operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Build, configure, and maintain integrations, applications, and system connections across the enterprise environment
- Monitor security tools, respond to alerts, and investigate security vulnerabilities to ensure system integrity
- Implement automation for repetitive security tasks to reduce manual effort and improve team efficiency
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with security tooling such as endpoint/EDR platforms and Zero Trust Architecture
- Experience building and maintaining applications, integrations, or automation workflows in a multi-system environment
- Generalist experience in a smaller team, MSP, or startup environment
- Working knowledge of security concepts, including access controls and compliance frameworks
