Cybersecurity Engineer
Job Summary
Joining a dynamic team remotely, the full-time Cybersecurity Engineer will take ownership of application work related to security operations, focusing on developing and maintaining tools that enhance detection, response, and threat intelligence capabilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Own agent-adjacent application work, including eval harnesses and UIs for security partners
- Design and evolve schemas and data contracts to ensure consistent data sharing between agents and humans
- Drive partner requests from vague concepts to operational solutions, managing the entire process from proposal to rollout
Required qualifications:
- Strong Python skills with experience in shipping production software, including APIs and services
- Hands-on experience with LLM/agent systems or demonstrated AI-augmented development skills
- Working knowledge of core cybersecurity practices, including identity and access management and secure configurations
- Experience designing schemas and application UIs based on real data
- Comfort with operational ownership of shipped solutions, including runbooks and observability
