Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

To protect and sustain a mission-critical enterprise application environment, the full-time Cybersecurity Engineer will design, implement, and monitor cybersecurity controls while working remotely in collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, implement, validate, and maintain cybersecurity controls for enterprise applications and infrastructure
• Translate customer and regulatory cybersecurity requirements into actionable technical requirements and security procedures
• Assess system architecture and application components to identify security risks and opportunities for enhancement

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for a degree
• Five or more years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related technical discipline
• Three or more years of experience supporting federal cybersecurity compliance and risk management
• Demonstrated knowledge of NIST RMF and NIST SP 800-53 security-control principles
• Experience with vulnerability management and secure configuration practices for various systems
