Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance cybersecurity measures, the full-time remote Cybersecurity Engineer will lead the integration of security into the SaaS environment, collaborate with engineering teams to implement controls, and monitor the threat landscape to mitigate risks effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the integration of security throughout the software development lifecycle for the SaaS environment
• Collaborate with Engineering to implement cybersecurity controls and enhance security monitoring
• Assess evolving threats and provide recommendations to mitigate risks, including weekly threat intelligence reporting

Required qualifications

• Experience securing AWS cloud environments and infrastructure as code solutions like Terraform
• Proven ability to implement security monitoring tools, such as Datadog, and ensure proper logging
• Strong knowledge of security in software development and CI/CD processes
• Bachelor's degree preferred, along with relevant security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, or GIAC)
• A minimum of 3 years of security experience
