Cybersecurity Engineer
Job Summary
To support ongoing security operations, the part-time Cybersecurity Engineer will monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and provide technical support remotely while collaborating with various teams on security initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to daily security alerts and escalations, including validating suspicious activity
- Provide hands-on technical support for cybersecurity incidents, performing root-cause analysis and documenting findings
- Support vendor onboarding processes and contribute to security policies and organizational security awareness efforts
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or related technology roles
- Hands-on experience with security monitoring and incident response
- Familiarity with CrowdStrike technologies and Microsoft cloud environments
- Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration-test remediation
- CompTIA Security+ or another recognized cybersecurity certification is a plus
