Cybersecurity Engineer - Massachusetts

Job Summary

Designing and securing enterprise-grade IT and OT environments, the full-time Expert Cybersecurity Engineer - Networks will lead network and security architecture efforts, manage firewall configurations, and conduct risk assessments in a hybrid work model based in Boston, Massachusetts.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement enterprise network and security designs across IT/OT segmentation, including LAN/WAN and cloud environments
• Integrate network components into SIEM for security monitoring and contribute to incident response and compliance efforts
• Manage firewall performance and security policies, ensuring optimal network integrity and compliance with industry standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 8 years of experience in Operational Technology (OT) Security or Network Security Architecture
• 5 years of experience in firewall configuration and maintenance, including Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and Fortinet
• 3 years of experience in deploying and managing OT networks and investigating security events
• Experience with Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) implementations
