Cybersecurity Forensic Examiner

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Cybersecurity Forensic Examiner will investigate escalated security incidents, coordinate with various teams, and create incident documentation while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assess escalated security events and drive response actions to minimize business impact
• Act as Incident Coordinator for high-impact cyber breaches, supporting communication during incidents
• Create documentation of incident response activities and develop security posture recommendations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information security, or computer science, or equivalent experience
• At least two years of experience in Information Technology or Cybersecurity with forensic knowledge or training
• Certification in EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), EnCase Certified eDiscovery Practitioner (EnCEP), or Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) within one year of entering the position
• Ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional departments and manage project workloads
• Experience with cybersecurity controls, policies, and procedures preferred
