Job Summary
Supporting a Defense Logistics Agency program, the fully remote Cybersecurity Incident Response & Threat Detection Analyst will monitor cybersecurity threats, perform incident response actions, and analyze security events to protect the enterprise network environment.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in 24/7 monitoring of SIEM platforms and other cybersecurity tools to detect and respond to threats
- Conduct root cause analysis of cybersecurity incidents and implement remediation strategies
- Maintain awareness of emerging cyber threats and support the implementation of Defense-in-Depth strategies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in a technical discipline from an accredited university
- Five years of relevant cybersecurity experience in security operations or incident response
- Two years of experience in root cause analysis of cybersecurity events
- Demonstrated experience with at least two cybersecurity tools or technologies
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance and eligibility for IT-I designation
