Cybersecurity Incident Response Lead

Job Summary

Leading the incident response efforts, the full-time remote Cybersecurity Incident Response Lead will oversee security incidents, coordinate response plans, and communicate updates to stakeholders while leveraging SIEM and SOAR technologies to minimize risks and restore operations efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary decision-maker during cybersecurity incidents, coordinating the incident response team
• Implement and refine incident response procedures and conduct monthly post-incident reviews to identify improvements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess impact, prioritize actions, and provide timely communication throughout the incident lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of IT/Cybersecurity experience with proven leadership in incident response
• Strong technical knowledge of network security, malware analysis, and intrusion detection
• Understanding of various operating systems, including Windows, UNIX, and Linux
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
