Cybersecurity Incident Response Lead

Job Summary

Leading the incident response efforts, the full-time remote Cybersecurity Incident Response Lead will oversee security incidents, coordinate response actions, and communicate updates to stakeholders while ensuring effective utilization of cybersecurity tools and protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact and decision-maker during cybersecurity incidents
• Lead and coordinate incident response efforts, mobilizing resources and implementing response plans
• Conduct post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and improve response procedures

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years IT/Cybersecurity experience with proven leadership in incident response
• Strong technical knowledge of network security, malware analysis, and intrusion detection
• Understanding of various operating systems (z/OS, Windows, UNIX, Linux, AIX, etc.)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
