Cybersecurity Lead
Job Summary
Leading cybersecurity delivery for Task 6, the full-time Cybersecurity Lead will support the Government Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in safeguarding USMEPCOM systems and assets while working remotely, preferably from the Chicago area.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage cybersecurity activities, serving as the senior contractor subject matter expert
- Coordinate remediation efforts across various teams and support security governance and risk management activities
- Advise on cybersecurity risks and compliance gaps, translating technical findings into actionable recommendations
Required qualifications
- Active Secret clearance or higher
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant cybersecurity or information security experience
- Current Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
- Demonstrated experience leading Department of Defense cybersecurity operations
