Job Summary

To contribute to the growth of the Information Technology program, the full-time, non-tenure track Cybersecurity Lecturer will teach four undergraduate courses per semester, engage in program and course development, and participate in committee leadership activities on campus in Dallas.

Key responsibilities
  • Teach four undergraduate courses per semester in Cybersecurity and Information Technology
  • Participate in program development, course development, and program assessment activities
  • Provide instruction in a range of courses including Foundations of Cybersecurity and Network Administration
Required qualifications
  • An earned master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses in Cybersecurity and Information Technology
  • Experience using technology in teaching across multiple modalities (hybrid, online, and face-to-face)
  • Evidence of significant academic research and/or applied experience in Cybersecurity
  • Demonstrated effective writing and verbal communication skills
