Job Summary
To contribute to the growth of the Information Technology program, the full-time, non-tenure track Cybersecurity Lecturer will teach four undergraduate courses per semester, engage in program and course development, and participate in committee leadership activities on campus in Dallas.
Key responsibilities
- Teach four undergraduate courses per semester in Cybersecurity and Information Technology
- Participate in program development, course development, and program assessment activities
- Provide instruction in a range of courses including Foundations of Cybersecurity and Network Administration
Required qualifications
- An earned master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses in Cybersecurity and Information Technology
- Experience using technology in teaching across multiple modalities (hybrid, online, and face-to-face)
- Evidence of significant academic research and/or applied experience in Cybersecurity
- Demonstrated effective writing and verbal communication skills
