Cybersecurity Officer - WA
Job Summary
To support cybersecurity initiatives across West Africa, the full-time Cybersecurity Officer - WA will execute the company's cybersecurity program, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate incident response activities in a remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute PawaPay's cybersecurity programme in line with global standards and regional requirements
- Conduct security risk assessments and coordinate regional security incident response activities
- Support regulatory engagements and ensure regional adoption of security policies and standards
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years' experience in cybersecurity within fintech, telecommunications, or regulated industries
- Professional fluency in both English and French
- Experience with recognized security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and security incident response
- A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
