Cybersecurity Operations Director

Job Summary

Leading the technical cybersecurity function for AI-driven legal operations SaaS platforms, the full-time Cybersecurity Operations Director will develop and execute cybersecurity strategies, manage security operations, and ensure robust protection of products and corporate systems in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the cybersecurity engineering and operations strategy, translating risk and business priorities into technical roadmaps and measurable outcomes
• Lead the design and continuous improvement of security controls across AWS and corporate environments, focusing on automation and security as code
• Own technical security operations and incident response, maintaining and exercising incident response plans and building automated detection workflows

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles managing security engineering or operations teams
• Deep expertise in securing cloud-native enterprise SaaS applications, particularly with AWS security technologies
• Strong experience with security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management, and demonstrated incident detection and response capabilities
• Experience securing Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments, including identity protection and privileged access management
• Hands-on proficiency in security automation and scripting using Python, Terraform, and CI/CD platforms
