Cybersecurity Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading the transformation of a proactive Security Operations Center, the full-time Cybersecurity Operations Manager will oversee automation, threat hunting, and incident response while managing SOC operations in a hybrid or onsite environment near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Advance automation and threat hunting initiatives within the SOC to reduce manual processes and enhance detection capabilities
• Establish a proactive threat hunting program and develop telecom-focused threat intelligence reporting to inform security operations
• Manage daily SOC operations, ensuring effective incident detection, response, and resolution while overseeing SOC staff development

Required qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• 6 years of information security experience, with at least 4 years in a Security Operations Center
• Minimum of 2 years of experience building or operating an automation-driven SOC
• Experience with security platforms such as ReliaQuest GreyMatter and Rapid7 InsightVM
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS
