Cybersecurity Operations Manager
Job Summary
To enhance cybersecurity operations, the remote Cybersecurity Operations Manager will oversee the 24x7 Detection and Response Center, manage analysts and engineers, and drive process improvements while ensuring compliance with security best practices.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the Detection and Response team in security operations and incident investigations
- Drive the integration of AI and automation into workflows for enhanced efficiency
- Develop strategic plans to improve security operations and manage SOC resources effectively
Required qualifications
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of leadership experience within a Security Operations Center or Managed Security Service Provider
- 5+ years of experience in information security
- Experience with SIEM, SOAR, and other security technologies preferred
- Possession of relevant industry certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, or CISM is preferred
