Cybersecurity Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading the transformation of a proactive, engineering-driven Security Operations Center, the full-time Cybersecurity Operations Manager will manage automation, threat hunting, and incident response efforts, with the option for hybrid or onsite work within 50 miles of Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of automated response workflows and threat hunting programs
• Oversee daily SOC operations, ensuring effective incident detection, response, and resolution
• Manage and develop SOC staff, fostering necessary skills and competencies for security risk management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 6 years of information security experience, with at least 4 years in a Security Operations Center
• 2 years of experience building or operating an automation-driven SOC
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
• Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash for security operations automation
